Description of the DragonSky

DragonSky is the only measurement system capable of assessing blade pitch under real operating conditions, whether the wind farm is onshore or offshore, or located in difficult terrain such as mountainous or forested areas.
Unlike traditional methods that require the turbine to be shut down, DragonSky enables dynamic measurements, with blades subjected to apparent wind loads as well as centrifugal and gravitational forces.
Equipped with a drone-mounted LiDAR system, it captures the full geometry of the rotating rotor, allowing for a detailed analysis of the aeroelastic behavior of the entire rotor-turbine assembly.
This innovative process also makes it possible to detect aerodynamic imbalances that are undetectable using standard SCADA systems..
